The department of Sciences and Humanities is a 17 member dynamic team with a unique combination of different disciplines of thought like Languages, Management Studies, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Environmental Studies and Physical Education. It also includes interdisciplinary branches of Engineering like Drawing, Fluid Mechanics and Workshop Training. This department aims at developing the communicative, managerial, analytical, quantitative, creative skills and sportsmanship of the students with a sharp focus on environmental issues and professional ethics. The specific objective of the department is to produce a human-engineer willing to learn, perform, excel, innovate and face the challenges of the globalized competitive professional environment sucessfully. To realize the objectives practically, the department of S&H plays an active role in conducting JKC training classes to the student community. |
